Tailored entirely
to you.

On the full range of classical Pilates apparatus – for greater strength, mobility and an upright posture.

My approach to Classical Pilates

01

A strong centre

A powerhouse that carries and strengthens you – the first step towards more strength and less tension in everyday life.

02

Building strength & mobility

More strength, more mobility, more ease – aches and discomfort fade into the background. Whether you are just starting out or ready for the next level, you will feel your progress.

03

Strong in everyday life

A body that truly supports you – resilient, mobile and full of energy: ready for whatever life brings, in daily life and in sport.

Joseph H. Pilates

“In 10 sessions you’ll feel the difference, in 20 sessions you’ll see a difference, and in 30 sessions you’ll have a whole new body.”

What is Classical Pilates?

The original method.
A complete system.

Moving through your day with strength, ease and a lightness you can feel – this is what makes Classical Pilates unique: strength and posture that can be seen and felt. It is made possible by Joseph Pilates’ original method: a self-contained system that trains strength, mobility and posture as one whole, with precision rather than repetition – every movement deliberate and controlled.
Every session is a private session, tailored to your mobility, your level of practice and any physical concerns you may have. Contemporary Pilates can already be an effective workout – Classical Pilates goes one step further: performed correctly, it specifically engages the deep stabilising muscles, building strength from the inside out.

What Pilates does for your body

Whether you are completely new to Pilates, rebuilding strength after giving birth, spend long hours at a desk or want to complement your sport: Classical Pilates works exactly where your body needs it.

01

Stability from within

The deep abdominal muscles, the small muscles along the spine and the pelvic floor support your body as roots support a tree – protecting your back and neck from the strains of daily life.

02

Greater mobility

Above all in the hips and shoulders – precisely where long hours of sitting lead to tension most quickly.

03

Real strength

Classical Pilates demands strength, endurance and coordination at the same time, building long, functional muscles: strength that shows in your control of movement, not merely in size.

04

Better balance

Well-trained stabilising muscles refine the connection between body and nervous system: you move with greater precision, react faster and have more control in every movement.

05

The ideal complement

Classical Pilates stands on its own or complements golf, tennis, skiing and other sports that load the body unevenly: what your sport throws off balance, Pilates brings back.

06

A clear mind

Full concentration on precise execution makes every session a mental counterbalance to a busy day.

What to expect in a session

Every session begins with me listening and looking closely: how are you feeling today, and how is your body moving right now? I respond to exactly that – within Joseph Pilates’ original method and its proven order of exercises, unchanged for decades. The result is not a rigid programme, but a system that adapts to you anew every time.

I pay attention to every detail, so that each exercise does exactly what it is meant to do. Working with the complete range of original classical apparatus – Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Arm Chair, High Chair, Barrel and Mat – I develop your body with purpose, session by session.

About me

Uta Weber

I began with a mat certification in the STOTT method – classical foundations enriched with more recent influences. I was soon drawn more strongly to the original, classical approach: closer to Joseph Pilates’ own method and conceived from the ground up for one-to-one teaching. This led to my training on all of the original apparatus – Reformer, Cadillac, High and Wunda Chair, Arm Chair and more – in a direct lineage that leads back, through only a few generations of teachers, to Joseph Pilates himself.

It is exactly this interplay of exercises and apparatus that I bring to every session with you, and I continue to deepen my understanding of it – so that after each session you feel not only that you have moved, but that something has truly changed.

Sessions take place on authentic apparatus by Pilates Designs, built to Joseph Pilates’ original specifications: the true foundation of the classical method.

Until the end of November, sessions will continue to take place at Augustenstraße 85a.
